Muse have a significant role to play in society by regenerating towns and cities with exciting and collaborative workplaces, much needed new homes and public spaces for communities to enjoy. As part of our commitment to be a responsible business, we conduct all our activities to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and in an open and ethical way. We choose to take responsibility for our actions and encourage positive impacts through our activities on the environment, our supply chain, communities and employees.

Improving the environment

We deliver schemes that bring together a holistic view of their impact on the environment. We work with current design standards, while looking to make sure our buildings are adaptable, to support future environmental changes. At Muse, we require all our supply-chain partners to adopt an approach that minimises energy use and CO2 production. We also promote the protection and enhancement of habitats, along with active transport and travel strategies.

Working together with our supply chain

We understand the importance of proactively collaborating with all our supply chain and stakeholders, to make sure our projects are delivered and completed to the highest-possible standards, with minimal disruption.

Protecting people

Being a Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP) accredited organisation means we’re totally committed to keeping people safe. This relates to our colleagues, but also extends to our supply chain and the communities we serve. This commitment is supported with a regularly reviewed health and safety policy that’s engrained throughout our supply chain.

Developing people

We’re committed to giving our colleagues every opportunity to enhance their skills, which will enable them to deliver the best-possible service to our customers but will also help the company achieve its goals. We encourage progression and learning for all our colleagues to help them realise their potential and to take full advantage of the opportunities that are presented by working on some of the UK’s best regeneration schemes.

Enhancing communities

Regeneration isn’t just about bricks and mortar! It’s about working with communities to understand their needs, heritage and their strengths, then harnessing this to create spaces and places to not only meet, but in many cases exceed their expectations. Social value runs throughout our schemes and we work with our partners to devise a social value strategy to benefit communities.
