Vimto Gardens makes a splash at property awards
Vimto Gardens has been named Urban Residential Development of the Year at the inaugural Insider North West Residential Property Awards.
The awards ceremony, which took place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, saw more than 460 residential property professionals celebrate the region’s successes over the last 12 months. Vimto Gardens triumphed, beating off stiff competition and taking the top spot as it ‘ticked all the boxes’ for the judges.
The 97-home mixed-use development, which is located just metres along from the world-renowned purple soft drink’s original factory site and takes its name from the much-loved brand, was so popular it sold out entirely off-plan in under a year.
The scheme, which is part of the wider Salford Central regeneration project, was developed by English Cities fund (ECf) in conjunction with Salford City Council. ECf is a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and the Homes & Communities Agency.
Hollie Reynolds, residential sales and marketing manager north at ECf, said: “Vimto Gardens has been one of the most exciting residential developments in the region over the last few years. It’s been a brilliant journey seeing the project through from initial plans to unprecedented sales success and this award really is the icing on the cake – we’re thrilled!”
