Muse scoops national property award
Property developer and urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments, has been awarded the prestigious title of National Property Company of the Year at this year’s Estates Gazette Awards, held on Thursday 11 December at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Now in their tenth year, the awards recognise excellence in the property industry and the award ceremony is attended by hundreds of property professionals from across the country. A panel of the industry’s leading figures judged this year’s entries and selected only the very best contenders for the awards.
The judges were impressed by Muse’s approach to partnership working and its tenacity to deliver the most challenging schemes.
Estates Gazette said that Muse proved that size isn’t everything when it comes to winning over their demanding judges. “Dogged and delivery-focused” said one judge. “Showing the big boys how it’s done,” said another.
Over the past eighteen months, Muse has seen some key achievements including starting on site for landmark schemes in Lewisham, Chester and Leeds, development agreements signed in Lambeth, South Shields and Aberdeen and major completions in Blackpool, Salford and Canning Town.
Nigel Franklin, joint managing director of Muse, said: “It’s great to be recognised for the extensive portfolio of 40 developments that we’ve built up. We now have genuine representation across the UK, with schemes from Aberdeen to Plymouth and across residential, office, retail, leisure and industrial sectors.”
“We’re extremely honoured to be recognised by the industry’s leaders for this prestigious award. We pride ourselves on tackling the projects that others wouldn’t, with the emphasis on delivery. We’ll continue to do what we do best, working with our partners to deliver major mixed-use schemes creating vibrant and sustainable spaces for occupiers and communities”, added Matt Crompton, joint managing director of Muse.
