Muse gets gold for investing in people
Muse Developments is celebrating after being awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Gold standard, which the company has retained for the past nine years.
This puts Muse in the top 7% of over 6,000 IIP accredited organisations for investing in its employees.
IIP is a standard for people management, offering accreditation to organisations that adhere to their ‘people framework’. The organisation has worked with hundreds of academics, business leaders and industry experts to design the framework through which companies are assessed.
The key areas the assessors look at are leading, supporting and improving - research has shown that success in these areas makes an organisation succeed in the long-term.
Results found that Muse has outstanding employee engagement, strong core values, trust and empowerment and a progressive approach to people management.
Muse has a long-term and comprehensive approach to supporting and investing in its employees including paid volunteer days, enhanced maternity and paternity packages, trained mental health first-aiders in each office, free lunch and agile working environments, as well as a wide range of other benefits.
Jill O’Grady, HR manager at Muse, said: “We’re very proud to have retained our IIP Gold accreditation for the ninth year in a row. It’s a rigorous assessment process, which involves employee questionnaires as well as in-depth interviews and we were delighted to have a huge amount of engagement in the process from colleagues.
“Our people are fundamental to everything we do, so we’re delighted to be recognised as one of the top companies in the country for investing in them.”
