Talbot Gateway, Blackpool

The £285m Talbot Gateway development will introduce a new civic and cultural centre to Blackpool within a large, mixed use, pedestrian- friendly development.

The comprehensive 12.8 hectare redevelopment of the north eastern part of the town, around the Blackpool North railway station area, will feature new retail, commercial, community, residential and civic office space in addition to town centre parking and transport facilities. It will include a new public square, council offices, a courthouse, a 70,000 sq ft supermarket, two hotels and a town centre multi-screen cinema.

It is anticipated that work will start in 2009.
