Muse and Sustainability

Our approach to development embraces the social, economic and environmental issues which are at the heart of sustainability. We assess our projects against criteria which are grouped under the headings 'People', 'Planet’ and ‘Profit’.

One of the most important issues for a regeneration plan is the preservation and enhancement of a site’s natural and built resources, as well as the adoption of a design approach that encourages sustainable practices. This can involve passive design measures, active design measures or social and behavioural measures.

We believe that the integration of appropriate community amenities within mixed-use development delivers vibrant destinations for local people. We are actively involved with local organisations representing the people and businesses that use our developments and we are committed to minimising the impact of our business processes on the natural environment and the communities amongst which we work.
