Northshore, Stockton-on-Tees

Working for the first time in partnership with Urban Splash, Muse is helping Tees Valley Regeneration create a high quality extension to Stockton’s town centre. The 56 acre, £300m Northshore development will transform the riverside and bring more than 2,500 new jobs to the area.

Muse and Urban Splash were selected as preferred developers because their proposals gave a real wow factor:

• 700,000 sq ft offices, 332 apartments, 150 houses
• 60,000 sq ft retail/ leisure
• a new hotel
• a new pedestrian bridge
• a new campus for Durham University

This mix of uses will deliver a truly mixed use community with a variety of public and private spaces offering a range of uses which will take advantage of the site’s south facing waterfront location and proximity to the town centre.
