January sale at Cheadle Royal

9th January 2008  -  Muse Developments has announced its latest sale at premier business park, Cheadle Royal.  The international hearing care company, Ascent Investments, has taken 7,550 sq ft at the new Oakfield Phase 3 scheme, which started on site in October 2007.

Muse is progressing Oakfield Phase 3 following the success of its former Oakfield phases. Oakfield Phase 2 has just been completed, and event organisers Fresh and international sensor company Balluff Ltd have now taken occupancy.  Oakfield Phase 3 is made up of five high specification buildings, with offices ranging in size from 6,500 to 10,000 sq ft.

Richard Jones, senior development surveyor at Muse Developments says: “Oakfield is an extremely popular scheme, with occupiers enjoying the prime, out of town location.  With this level of confidence and success already under our belt, Phase 3 has always been very much on the cards.  To have a sale secured within  two months of starting on site is testament to the high quality of the scheme and to the requirement that exists in the market for this type of office accommodation.”

Michael Nolan, CEO of Ascent Investments, adds:  ‘’We are delighted to have secured a building on the prestigious Cheadle Royal site as the nerve centre for our European operation.  We currently do business in 14 European countries and required a facility that reflected the high status we hold in hearing health care sector.  Muse Developments has demonstrated to us their client care and attention to detail which we considered vital when establishing a European hub.  The site is ideally placed close to Manchester International Airport and already has a welter of quality occupiers and services’’.

LSH and DTZ represented Muse in the transaction.
