17 April 2008 - Over one hundred apartments have now been sold at Chatham Place since the scheme was launched in October last year. This represents almost half of the 211 one and two bedroom apartments available in this first phase of development.

Chatham Place is a £250m mixed use development on the junction of Oxford Road and Chatham Street in Reading town centre. It is a partnership development between Muse Developments and Reading Borough Council. It is the biggest new development under way in the town at present and phase one (which is due to complete next year) will feature high end shops and cafes and extensive areas of open space as well as private sale and key worker/shared ownership residential.
The next phase of Chatham Place will include decking over the IDR to link Oxford Road back with town centre and create an impressive area of public open space as well as commercial, retail and more residential. Work is due to start on this later this year.
The Chatham Place marketing suite is situated at 78 Oxford Road and is open seven days a week from 11am - 6pm.
