Following on from Sir Richard Leese’s recent message that Manchester businesses must fight back following the riots, Muse Developments demonstrated its support for the city with Manchester staff wearing 'I Love MCR' t-shirts for a special event held at its Salford Quays office.

With proceeds being donated to victims of the recent riots, staff at Muse are arranging their own fundraising activities including a Manchester themed quiz and cake sale selling local delicacies such as Eccles cakes and Manchester tarts.  In addition, Muse has given all employees at the North West regional office ‘I Love MCR’ t-shirts in support of the campaign.

Matt Crompton, joint managing director at Muse, said: “Although we are a national company, our regional office is located in Manchester and we’ve been shocked at the recent events that have affected this great city.  All of our employees have been keen to get involved and, in addition to our t-shirt donation, are coordinating their own activities to back the campaign.”

 The profits from the t-shirts will go to local charities Forever Manchester and Reclaim.
